Toushinden S (闘神伝S ~とうしんでんS~) is a Fighting 3D game, developed by Takara Co., Ltd. / Nextech Co., Ltd. and published by Sega Enterprises, Ltd., which was released in Japan in 1995 for the Sega Saturn.

Battle Arena Toshinden Remix, called Toshinden S (闘神伝S) in Japan, is a 1995 3D fighting game for the Sega Saturn in Takara's Battle Arena Toshinden series of games.

Remix is an enhanced port of the 1995 PlayStation game, Battle Arena Toshinden (simply known as Toshinden in Japan). In its original incarnation it acted as the PlayStation's answer to Virtua Fighter, a battle it was largely considered to have won as a showcase for the then-new generation of hardware. Remix adds a new computer generated introduction to the game, as an all-new story mode, and a exclusive character called Cupido. This is Cupido's only appearance in the series.

Battle Arena Toshinden (バトルアリーナ闘神伝, Batoru Arīna Tōshinden) is a weapons-based fighting game developed by Tamsoft and published by Takara and Sony Computer Entertainment in 1995 for the PlayStation, followed by 1996 ports for the Sega Saturn, Game Boy and MS-DOS. It was one of the first fighting games to boast polygonal characters in a 3D environment, and features a sidestep maneuver which is credited for taking the genre into "true 3D." The Game Boy version of Battle Arena Toshiden despite sharing the same name as the console & PC counterparts is a different game. It is a 2D weapons based fighter and supports the Super Game Boy cartridge peripheral for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System/Super Famicom to allow the game to be played on a TV with colour palettes and borders.

The game was announced as a PlayStation exclusive, with Sony initially promoting it as a "Saturn killer" (against Sega's Virtua Fighter), but it was ported to the Saturn with additional features less than a year later.

D-Xhird (ディ・サード) is a Fighting 3D game, developed by Takara Co., Ltd. / Nextech Co., Ltd. / Studio Cliche and published by Takara Co., Ltd., which was released in Japan in 1997 for the Sega Saturn.

D-Xhird (ディ・サード, Di・Sādo) is a 3D weapons-based fighting game developed by Nextech and published by Takara, the same companies that created the Battle Arena Toshinden series, which the game is inspired from. The endings for the characters teased a sequel, but it never happened.

Players choose their fighter and fight through the cast in the common fighting game fashion. Players are able to strafe using the Saturn shoulder buttons as well as performing attacks with the strafe command such as grabs and special moves. Depending on the opponent, the arena will either consist of a ring or a cage. Players (and opponents as well) have the ability to avoid falling out of the ring by pressing the jump button just as they are about to fall. Players and enemies alike can also use the walls of a caged arena to deal extra damage on an opponent by knocking them against the cage's walls.
