HARMER is asking $3400.00 for a new AL-600. We are listing this as 'Open Box' because it was never used. It was in the process of being installed in the van shown in the photos, but the intended user experienced increasingly challenging health issues eventually requiring Hospice-care. What was intended to facilitate twilight-years mobility and bucket-list travel goals became un-needed equipment. We do not have the carton, but I personally oversaw disassembly and buyer can be re-assured everything is there and will be shipped. With some help from the manual and online/phone assistance from manufacturer this can be installed in short order.
The cool concept is that the user can have his/her mobility scooter, lifted and then slid 'inside' the vehicle. ALL BY THEMSELVES. Drive up on the ramp, safety strap the scooter to the ramp, use the red remote to lift up the scooter and slide it in the back of the van...close the back hatch and you're out fo there. A great concept for those who don't want a powered wheel-chair hanging off the back of a vehicle. Theft and exposure to elements are always legitimate concerns for those traveling with mobility scooters. but not with this Harman AL-600. We'd much prefer a local pick-up but will ship if needed, PLEASE READ BELOW!

We would prefer to have this picked up locally but will offer shipping two different ways. For any buyers local to the Los Angeles Area (100 miles radius to our location 91711), we offer a flat fee of $300 for our store to deliver. We will deliver to first floor garages only. No stairs or split level (other than ground floor) delivery. We will also ship via major courier for $650. This will ship in four separate parcels. The $650 covers all containers, packing material and courier charges to get the AL-600 to your location anywhere in the contiguous 48 United States. Hawaii and Alaska eBayers...sorry you're out of luck on this item.
We do not offer or provide installation. We don't have the proper insurance or regular practice to do so. Not enough to feel comfortable with providing related services. Please reach out to Harmar if the owner's doesn't do it for you. The manual 'is' quite comprehensive and for the 'handy' buyer, it shouldn't be a problem at all to get this beautiful lift installed.
