This is a vintage women's black leather belt made by Clara Studios for Asymmetry in 1994. Made in Long Island , NYC, by designer Clara Kasavina and her artist/sculpture husband Misha Berger. The couple opend their business in 1981 and first produced exquisite costume jewelry and handbags. They created the "Asymmetry" line in 1992 and the line ended in 2003. This belt is full grain, textured leather with 3 silvertone metal belt loops, tip, and buckle. The belt is adjustable with 5 holes. The size to the middle hole is 32" (Medium) with a 38" total length. The leather width is 1".  The belt with fit a waist size from 29" to 33".  The metal hardware on the tip and loops has a stamped triangle pattern. The buckle is oversized with horizontal, radiating, textured ridges. It measures 2 1/4" long by 2 1/4" wide. The buckle prong has a fun and quirky purposeful crooked bend in it that lies perfectly flat when buckled. The company name, product line and date are imprinted on the back side of the buckle. The belt is a fashion accessory with a USA theme and is perfect for adding a touch of vintage style to any outfit. It is in excellent, undamaged condition.
