These volumes are in good minus condition. Moderate bumping and chipping to both spines and all edges of boards. Moderate scuffing to boards. Gilt lettering and design on spine and boards still full and vivid. Library markings on all edges of textblocks and pastedowns. Moderate paper damage to pastedowns. Loose pages at front and rear of both volumes. Fold out maps are present in both volumes. Interior pages are mostly clean.

Philip Henry Sheridan (March 6, 1831[1][a] - August 5, 1888) was a career United States Army officer and a Union general in the American Civil War.
