TAMIYA KING TIGER German Heavy Tank 1/16th Scale complete with Acoms Techniplus 4 Channel Radio Control Unit, plus optional Tamiya Battle System.

Comes complete with fitted DMD Control Unit, allowing forward and reverse drive, steering, turret rotation, gun raising/lowering, firing & recoil, and full sound capabilities.

I purchased and built this tank approximately 20 years ago. It has been dry stored since then and remains in excellent cosmetic condition, other than some decal wear which easily rectified. The tank has been properly constructed and painted, has had very little use and is complete in every detail. The decals have “flaked” a little presumably because I failed to seal them with a coat of varnish.

I have recharged the tank battery, and fitted new AA batteries to the R/C unit, all systems appear to be operating correctly. The sound system is realistic and very loud.

The tank is also fitted with the optional Tamiya "Battle System" allowing tank-to-tank battling with any other similarly fitted Tamiya tank. 

Comes complete with full assembly instructions and operators manual.

There is no original box, too bulky to store, but not large enough to contain the tank when built.

Please note that this tank is very heavy and would present quite a challenge to package in a way that could withstand UK shipping services, plus it would have to be shipped without its batteries. I am therefore listing as "Collection Only" - I am located close to Haslemere Surrey, about 30 minutes from M25 J10. For anybody living further away, I may be able to help with delivery for part of the journey if convenient - please ask before bidding. 

This is a lovely example of the Tamiya King Tiger complete with radio control unit and Battle System option, and I believe sensibly priced against new cost for the tank alone (unassembled) of around £650+ in UK when last available
