Rare 1962 novelty necktie produced by the Republican Action Fund as part of their campaign to fundraise for Republican candidates to fight the Democrats in the 1964 election.

The imagery of three staggered chairs: A tiny child's chair with a teddy bear representing Ted Kennedy, a medium chair with a book on the seat for Robert F. Kennedy, and a big rocking chair marked "HIS" for President John F. Kennedy. Of course, JFK would never see the 1964 election.

The attack ads hit the Kennedy family dynasty, reasoning that the rocking chair was an appropriate symbol for their fund drive because, "family rockers have a habit of getting passed down from one generation to the next."

Red acetate tie. Very good condition, folded.
