A NOTE FROM CHARLIE: Over at Hayward Junction they got so many trains coming through that thay out grew all their signals and switches. I hear their planning to build a new Electrical Control Cabinet. It's suppose to be able to handle as many as ten trains coming throught the junction in one day. Can you imagine that? That many trains in one day! We ain't got that many cars in the whole county. Next thing you know they'll be putting in them crossing gates to keep the train from hitting the cars. Ya won't see me given way to one of them locos.
