For auction is a beautiful pattern of art pottery made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is "Bushberry" and it is done in the most desirable green background glaze. The vase is large as it measures 9 1/2" tall to the top lip and is 7 1/8" in diameter outside handles measurements. The bottom round foot has a diameter of 4 1/16".

The pattern displays very detailed embossed Maple tree shaped leaves and clusters of bush berries dangling or growing from a stem out of the leaves. The twig handles rises above the swollen area of the vase on both sides and attaches itself to the just under the top lip. They have a triangular ear shaped appearance. The background of the vase resembles that of tree bark with a horizontal grain thus giving this vase that life like appearance. The background glaze is a 2 tone green with brown glaze. It has wonderful deep sage greens applied to the embossed leaves that roll off to the edges with brown or rust colored bush berries.

The vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no, cracks, chips, nicks, or dings. The vase is very clean both inside and out. It is amazing that the twig handles have survived all this time without even a flea nick! The vase is signed on the bottom with "Roseville U.S.A." in raised relief along with the mold number 35-9". There is also the number "11" written in a black grease pencil and what appears to be an incised freehand number "8". This is a lovely piece of art pottery in a very desirable pattern and color from Roseville. The mold is crisp and the detail is just wonderful. I'm sure the buyer will not be disappointed. This vase was made circa 1941.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July 2020. I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the merchandise unless it is paid for.

They are also now charging all sellers a commission of 12.35% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 12.35%. This is an increase of 9.45% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 12.35% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.

If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
