The specimen in this listing is Lost Creek meteorite, weighs .82 grams and is 35 X 6 X 5 mm in size. It will come as pictured in a large display box along with a specimen / certificate of authenticity from the Kansas Meteorite Society.  
The Lost Creek meteorite was found in 1916 in Lincoln Co., Kansas by a farmer while walking the perimeter of his land.  It was inherited by his son who sold it to a U.S. meteorite collector.  In 2001 the Lost Creek meteorite was classified as an H3.8 chondrite (S2 W3)  Lost Creek in one of a handful of unequilibrated H chondrite to be recovered in the US.  The total recovered weight is 4.018 kg.  Currently the main mass of the Lost Creek meteorite resides in the collection of the Kansas Meteorite Society.
