For sale is a vintage late 1950s or 1960s Zenith Deluxe Royal 755LK transistor radio. Uses 6 C batteries. When batteries were installed, the radio came on and stations were received. The stations were not as clear and loud as they should be. There was a constant noise (not a hum) in the background throughout the dial. Knobs are correct and turn as they should as does the dial indicator. The battery compartment has very very minor battery stains to the plastic battery holder. Very clean inside and no odors or mice nests. The grille needs cleaning. The back cover has come apart at the top back. Some stitching needed. The long aluminum strip at the bottom has come off but it is present. Needs straightening. Handle is fine.
