Three months back on the job, and they're already coming out of the woodwork. The bad guys you expect. The gangsters and the hoods with old axes to grind. They all come with the territory. But the heroes -- them you don't expect. Popping up to give you the eyeball and make sure you're toeing the line. Their line. Spider-Man and his wisecracks...Frank Castle, the angel of death himself, telling you he'll be keeping an eye on you...even the fugitive Captain America, with a word to say about crashing an aircraft into the sides of buildings in New York City. And now, this other thing. Someone is out there. Someone hitting the old haunts, scenes of the old crimes. Leaving messages. Leaving bodies. Someone who knows you. Someone who crushes steel and pulls off limbs. All to get your attention. Someone out of your league!

But no one wants to know more than the architect of the Initiative, Tony Stark. Problem is, the girl is in the clutches of corrupt cops that are currently in the crosshairs of a vigilante whose methods make even Khonshu blink. The Punisher has come down to Mexico, and God help anyone who gets between him and his prey.

I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These novels are in good to very good conditions, but all have solid spines, great or better hardcovers (photo#18), and excellent inside pages (photo#19,20,21,22 examples). The earlier Volumes (1, 2) have a few more clear signs of wear, each having one or two corner indents/dings, while the later ones have relatively fewer and lesser wear, although all of the flaws affect the book's externals only thankfully. Due to eBay's photo limit, with lots involving multiple books, I am not able to show the detailed looks I try to maintain, so if you would like any extra photos of a specific description/book, feel free to let me know! The TL;DR versions of each book's condition below is in italics, with the more in-depth collectors' paragraphs below them.

Any reference to certain areas of books can be seen in the photos above. The sections are:

I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit. I always pack books firmly between pieces of cardboard (among other materials/layers) via Gemini Comic mailers or bubble mailers depending on size; usually utilizing boxes for larger lots. If you have any questions or would like any additional photos, feel free to let me know. I'm always happy to combine shipping costs - either message me before completing purchase for a pre-payment price adjustment, or alternatively I can provide a refund afterwards. Thanks, and have a tremendous day!
