Vintage Japanese Ceramic Small Plate

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic small plate, or mamezara. This dish features a blue and white sometsuke look with flowers and plant leaves. Mamezara are tiny plates in a Japanese tableware set that typically hold dipping sauces such as soy sauce, garnishes, and other condiments. It is also the perfect size for holding small jewelry.

• Good condition considering age. Large chip on rim. Doesn't sit completely flat. Glaze imperfections. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
