Antique Burmese wood carved Nats figure


Shan (Tai Yai) period: 1315 – 1948The Tai-Shan people are believed to have migrated from Yunnan in China. The Shan, who call themselves Tai, form one section of the large Tai ethnic group which is now believed to have spread from Southeast China through Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Burma and Assam.


This wood carved Nats, Shan style figure is an old traditional handicraft from 18th Century period, looks chuck or old-fashion, about 60 degrees neck- bevel.It is size 16.5 inches Tall on a black stand. It is a unique and rare piece condition.
