The stereo recordings made by Bruno Walter (1876-1961) between 1957 and 1961, in his later years, are the most important performances in the vast discography of the greatest conductor of the 20th century, and represent the various aspects of his long musical career. This is a collection of masterpieces that can literally be called a world heritage of recordings, the result of a wealth of experience and deep insight. The performance was the result of detailed rehearsals and sessions with the Columbia Symphony Orchestra, which was specially organized for the recording, and was performed at the American Legion Hall with excellent acoustics, using Columbia's state-of-the-art equipment and technology. It was recorded in. This series, which systematically reissues all of Walter's stereo recordings by composer, is Walter's first full-fledged hybrid product, and includes new remixes and remasters from the original analog 3-track master for the first time in 21 years since 1998. Now, in the new century, we will revive its brilliance once again. The first volume includes recordings of Mozart and Haydn, which Walter was best at throughout his life and which became synonymous with himself. DISC 6 includes a reprint of a sound source not yet released in Japan that includes Walter's narration in easy-to-understand English. This series is scheduled to be released for a total of 7 issues.
