For sale is a vintage Tissot Seastar PR 516 from the 1970s, powered by the manual wind cal. 781-1. A tonneau shaped 35mm that wears larger than it appears, time only with a silver colored brushed dial and applied markers. Comes with a generic mesh bracelet that fits really well the overall aesthetic.

Condition

Overall the watch is in decent condition. Dial has only minor marks that are visible under high magnification, but hardly to the naked eye. Acrylic crystal has some scratches and it really needs a deep polish or even replacement. Case has scratches all around from normal use, but nothing major.

Movement looks quite clean for its age. Winding and time setting is smooth. On a timegrapher app in a smartphone it's showing -15 s/day and 0.9ms beat error. Not perfect, but very close for a vintage watch.

This watch is not water resistant and you should keep it away from water. Even under light rain or washing your hands you run the risk of introducing humidity.
