This vintage dress is from the 40s and is in the most amazing condition! I have never seen a piece of vintage clothing that was so pristine! Evenly jet black without a single sign of fading or discoloration. The fabric shows no wear and is free of any damage. The metal zipper glides smoothly and without resistance. Just flawless in every way! Also very clean and with no vintage odor. The fabric must be some kind of acetate blend. It is silky smooth and textured and has a very similar feel to the acetate lining inside or it. It has a wide gathered waistband and is gathered beneath that in the shape of a bow, to gather around the top of the hips and in the waist. Just darling! It fits like a womens XS or maybe a small. Bust: 34-35" maybe 36" the sleeves are a batwing style, so there are no armpit seams to measure to.
The waist is 26" at the smallest part and is 30" at the top of the band, at the empire waist
Length from shoulder: 41"
Hips: 35" pulls to 37" but would be tight at 37" 35" or 36" max I'd say

For those who are interested in purchasing multiple items, i will ship as many items in a flat rate container as possible so that you can buy several items without paying shipping for each individual item! I do not mark up my shipping costs, so it's very cost effective for those who are wanting to purchase multiple items. Depending on bulk, I can usually fit two to three average sized items in a flat rate envelope, and several more in a medium flat rate box, so shop on! usually Shipping costs are always the buyers responsibility, unless otherwise agreed upon or other offers were accepted. I ship is the most cost effective way possible, and do NOT charge ridiculous handling fees. This saves you, the buyer, money on the cost of your items. Most often items are shipped in polyurethane shipping bags. More fragile items are most likely to ship VIA flat rate USPS containers.
