MAROON / RED BERET CAP HAT & PARA REGIMENT BADGE - HIGHLANDER HAT013 - MEDIUM #2
Manufactured by Highlander - 100% wool with leather trim
I bought this at auction and the only description was:
"Post war British Paratrooper uniform beret. Red, with black band and Paratrooper cap badge."
I don't see an M.O.D. pheon so I don't know if this is for military issue or re-enactment
The cap badge is a slider type with the King's Crown - I don't see a makers stamp on the slider badge
Overall condition is good. It doesn't look to have been used much (if at all). The ends of the lace are fraying a bit.
This has been in storage for some time so there is a musty smell - it would benefit from an airing
The glass hat display is not included in the auction
