We believe that it is a travesty to simply throw away a used book when there is little or nothing wrong with it - we believe in giving each book the chance of finding a new home. We appreciate the impact a good book can have. We know the excitement of a new page turner, or the familiar joy of an old favorite, and we find satisfaction in putting older, and often scarce books in the hands of people who have the same love for old books that we do.

Packaging:
We take pride in packaging our books for safe delivery, and if you check our feedback, you will see this reflected in the comments of many pleased customers. For nearly all of our books, we use a specially designed boxing system from IPS (Inovative Packaging Solutions) located in York, PA. These media shipping boxes are designed to conform to the size of the book, securing it and preventing it from bumping around during shipping. The end result is a box which provides a double thickness of cardboard covering the front and back of the book; actually almost like a box within a box. The outer layer of cardboard extends beyond the ends of the inner "box" which very efficiently protects the corners of the book from being bumped and damaged by the sometimes rough handling packages receive in transit. In addition we place the book in a plastic bag to help guard against moisture if a package is left out in the elements.
Delivery:
We aim to get all books shipped within 24 hours of order except on weekends. We can't control the delivery time once a book leaves our hands, but most of the time USPS is prompt in delivery, and the expected delivery time given by eBay is usually fairly accurate. Because we use media mail to keep costs down, it does take a little longer for delivery, and occasionally packages get delayed in the mail system. If for some reason your order has not arrived within the expected time frame, please get in contact with us so that we can try to help you.
