Up for sale is a FT-857D (US version). I purchased it new in 2019. The radio has seen extremely light use over the years and is in excellent condition. Apart from software setting changes (ex. turning DNR on and off) and turning the dials on the front, no modifications have been made to the radio (i.e. I haven't opened it and soldered components on / replaced components / replaced parts). The radio has been recently tested and is functional. Most items (apart from the radio itself) are still sealed in the original plastic in the original box.
Included in this sale is a U5 Link, which enables CAT control of the radio and provides an audio interface with which to run digital modes (ex. FT8).
Item has been in a non-smoking home. I'm selling it due to a lack of use (I'm not much of a portable/mobile HF operator).
Included in this sale:
- The radio (with the control head, microphone, and cables)
- The original box, with all original cables/documentation (most of which are still in their original plastic, unused)
- A U5 Link, with 1x USB-B, 2x 3.5mm audio, and the 2x cables used to interface with the radio
