The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a beveled wood and silver handled wood tray with three circular compartments that are felt lined from saint Margaret hospital, Hammond, In. The tray has silver sticker on underside that's from Johnston's recognition people. The hospital, from what I have read, is closed, the buildings may have been torn down and couldve been used as a serving tray. Good condition with age related issues. Has dirt and is dusty; left as found. The wood type is unknown; somewhat dark stained. It could be uneven lie the wood maybe dry near larger hole and hole to the right and somewhat in middle. Glue residue spots that are in lines along right side and middle of tray. Maybe can removed with right chemicals but maybe not; as found. Metal plaque at bottom center, Saint Margaret hospital, 30. I bought this from a man who sells item s from his excavating jobs, so this is probably from the old hospital. The metl handles could be tarnished, can have scuffs and light scratches. Theres a mark on lower left corner top of tier, may not come off. Somewhere in wood, near larger circular hole, under it, and right hole. Nicks in wood in places and could be wear scratches. Some kind of shiny clump on wood on second tier right side. The backside on Johnstons sticker is scratched. Wood surface there are felt circle some. The wood has scratches, a few long gouges, nicks. This item is great fot the hospital history that is now defunct. Overall cleaning would halep. Measures 16.5" X 13.25" X 2".
