Published by David McKay, Philadelphia, PA, 1891-'2. 8vo. 438pp. Very good eighth edition book, also known as the Death Bed Edition. No dust jacket. Dark green cloth covered boards with gilt lettering on spine. Upper page edges are gilt; side edges are untrimmed, lower edges are rough trimmed. Side and lower page edges are age-darkened. A few light scuffs on board panels. Creases and crimping, and with a tiny amount of fraying at head and tail of board spine. Tiny rub-throughs at tips of fore-edge corners with are slightly curled. Shallow bump on lower right front fore-edge corner.  Inside front hinge is cracked.  End-papers are age-darkened, text pages are slightly less so. Text block is solid.
