Gorgeous pickle castor set with a silver-plated stand by Pairpoint Manufacturing Co. and cranberry opalescent glass in a Fenton Daisy  Pattern. Includes ornate tongs with human hands pattern.

The Pairpoint Manufacturing Co. was founded by Thomas J. Pairpoint in 1880 in New Bedford, MA.  The base is stamped with the maker's mark and New Bedford, MA.The lid is ribbed. The base has a nice geometric design. The tongs are also interesting as the end in human hands holding some sort of serving star shaped tool.

There are no markings on the opalescent glass. It is in great condition with no chips or cracks.

The entire stand is 10 inches tall. The glass pickle castor seems a small diameter for the stand and lid, so I suspect it is not an original pairing.
