100% lemon balm leaf oil. DESCRIPTION: Steam distillation of the leaves releases a unique sweet, citrus oil, which is ideal for mood-stabilizing and nerve-soothing preparations. It takes a huge amount of leaves to produce the smallest amount of essential oil, so it is best used in aromatherapy blends. Used in a Melissa diffuser, it will help relieve anxiety. Extraction method: steam distillation Plant part: leaves Aroma: unique, citrus and earthy Fragrance family: citrus INGREDIENTS: 100% lemon balm leaf oil. Naturally occurring allergens: Citral, Citronellol, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool. HOW TO USE: Vaporizer: add 6 to 8 drops of essential oil to a vaporizer or burner. Inhalation: add 3 to 5 drops of essential oil to a bowl of very hot water, inhale the vapors for 5 to 10 minutes. (Inhalation only for children over 10 years of age.) For massage: dilute 5 drops of essential oil with 10 ml of carrier oil, such as almond or jojoba oil. Bath: add 4 to 6 drops of essential oil per 20 ml of carrier oil. Mix in water. CONTRAINDICATIONS: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not apply directly to the skin. Not for children under 5 years of age.
