This is a Crown SS824 solid state reel to reel deck. Quarter track solid state. Has original factory crown wood cabinet and counter. I've owned it since the 70's. A few years ago I went over it and did am extensive clean and lube and replaced the capstan flywheel thrust washer etc.
Was working well but has been in climate controlled storage for 2 plus years. I have no way to test it as I no longer live near where its stored. Therefore it is being sold as Parts or Repair AS-IS. The heads appear to be in good condition Due to the weight and fragility of this unit This is being sold as Local Pick Up Only.
I will be listing dozens more reel to reel machines and related items in the near future including other Crown and Studer decks. Collecting old electronics has been my hobby for decades but my vision has deteriorated to the point I can no longer see well enough to work on or enjoy it any more.
