This is a Lionel 627 Post War O Gauge 44 Ton Diesel Switcher in Lehigh Valley (LV) red with white trim from 1956-57. It is a plastic body on a stamped metal frame with one-axle magnatraction and a 3-position e-unit. These did not come with a headlight. It will run equally well on 027 or O gauge track.

This one has been fully serviced with new center-rail pickup rollers, and motor brushes. It has been track-tested and it runs smoothly and pulls well. It is ready to enjoy on your layout.
