Motul 7100 4T 10W-50
MOTUL 7100 4T 10W50 is a multigrade synthetic 4-stroke oil with high-quality ester components and special additives for gearbox lubrication. Exceeds the requirements of motorcycle manufacturers such as: KTM, TRIUMPH , HUSQVARNA, which prescribe SAE 10W-50 viscosity. For high performance motorcycles, sports motorcycles, STRADA motorcycles, trail motorcycles, off-road motorcycles, enduro, trials, quads, scooters, etc. with 4-stroke engines with or without integrated gearbox, dry or wet clutch. Also for engines that meet Euro-2 or Euro-3 requirements.

JASO (Japanese Automobile Standards Organization) has developed its own standard for 4-stroke motorcycle engine oils with JASO T 903. The grades MA, MA1 and MA2 facilitate the selection of motorcycle engine oils which have been specially developed for wet clutches. JASO MA2 stands for the highest friction values and therefore optimal clutch compatibility when changing gear, during the acceleration phase and even at constantly high speeds.
ADVANTAGES:
- The low traction coefficient of foreign components reduces friction losses and improves overall performance.
- Ester components, together with the additive package, improve cut resistance, wear protection and durability of the engine and transmission. This is documented by the exceptional FZG (Forschungsstelle für Zahnräder und Getriebebau) test result of >14 FLS (Failure Load Stage). The smaller the value, for example 1 FLS, the lower the wear protection, the higher the value, for example >14 FLS, the better the wear protection of the gearbox. This test can be used to determine whether adequate lubricant film thickness between gears ensures reliable gearbox operation.
- Optimized sulfur and phosphorus content ensures long-term operation of catalytic converters.
- Prevents corrosion and contamination of the engine.
- For modern engine technology with wet clutch and gearbox lubrication in the same oil bath. No clutch sticking and slipping.
- The easy-flow viscosity allows rapid lubrication even in the starting phase, reduces critical wear during cold starting and is particularly suitable for hydraulic tappets.
RECOMMENDATIONS AND NOTES:
