Kit. Prototype data: LTM 1800 8-axle, LIEBHERR 8-cylinder diesel traction motor, type D 9408 TI-E with 420 kW/570 HP, LIEBHERR 6-cylinder diesel crane engine, type D 9406 TI-E with 300 kW/408 HP. It has been built by LIEBHERR since 1987. The lattice mast version has been around since 1991. The telederrick system consists of the 31.5 m long derrick boom and 240 t of suspended ballast. When using the derrick system, the crane experiences a load capacity increase of over 260% on the 50.7 m long telescopic boom with a 46 m radius. Instead of 31 t without the derrick mast, the crane with this special equipment lifts 81 t. The derrick boom is tensioned to the telescopic mast either on the 1st. or 2. Telescopic part, so that the load capacity over the entire boom length could be increased significantly up to 56.4 m. The derrick system also offers significantly improved load capacities when operating with a fixed and luffing lattice tip and thus completely new application possibilities for the LTM 1800. The LTM 1800 has received enormous popularity from many companies worldwide due to its compactness and extremely versatile application options.
