Bucilla New Discontinued "Holly Hobbie" Felt Christmas Stocking Kit-18" Rare Factory Direct Never been on secondary market. Not a Plaid Reproduction, Second or Knockoff

All my kits are brand new or sterilized if purchased from the secondary market.  All kits are germ-free.  This stocking kit is brand new and has been in my possession since its release more than 12 years.  It has been stored in a temperature, environmental controlled container since its release. It's completely germ-free and has never been around any pets of any type of smoking.

"Holly Hobbie" is one the prettiest kits that Bucilla has ever produced for any girl.  It is well displayed with numerous poinsettias as well as framing the little Holly Hobbie in an oval frame on the stocking.  On the dark green toe it reads, "All Hearts are Young at Christmas".  This design gives the appearance of a very elegant piecework quilt with the different strips of fabric for bows and decorations and well as her adorable dress.  You have to see the completed stocking to appreciate it.

As you may know, Bucilla has introduced Holly Hobbie under several different names in different years.  For 2009, it is "Holly Days", for some of the earlier editions were "Holly Berry" and others.  This is another one of the Holly Hobbie version stockings that Bucilla has produced in cooperation with American Greetings.  This is another rare and limited edition in this collection.  It is precious when completed.  The completed stocking far exceeds any of the Holly Hobbie series that Bucilla has produced.  If you like Holly Hobbie, you will love this one.  It is perfect for any little girl. 

This stocking would be perfect for even a mother or grandmother since it is using the patchwork design and the theme of the "little Dutch girl.  I have personally made this stocking and still have it and it is one of the prettiest, daintiest stockings I have ever made.  Since it is a "timeless" design, it would be perfect for any girl or lady.  It is truly a classy design.

This discontinued kit was shipped directly from the manufacturer, Bucilla, to me.  It has been in my possession since its production.  This has not been on the secondary market so I can honestly say it came from a clean, smoke-free, pet-free, climate controlled environment.  This is one of Bucilla's kits and not produced by Plaid.  This kit does come with easier illustrated, step-by-step instructions, as well as more than enough supplies to complete your kit without buying additional supplies. The felts are much higher quality and are thicker and can be washed without bleeding.  There are care instructions included in the kit.

Since Holly Hobbie is a copyright name it's highly doubtful that it will ever be reproduced by any company.

  • I wrap all of my kits in white tissue and label them so that there is no chance of the kit opening during transit and losing a bead or sequin. It preserves the cleanliness of the kit as well. All of my kits are from a clean, smoke-free, pet-free environment except for the vintage kits. I do take extra precaution on all vintage kits or opened to maintain they are germ-free.
