This is a 2021 Official First Day of Issue, First Day Cover featuring one of the “A VISIT FROM ST. NICK” Forever® stamps.

This stamp design depicts Santa having descended a chimney, his legs dangling over the hearth, with three green and white stockings hanging on the mantel.*

The FDC is a standard #6-3/4 envelope (3-5/8” x 6-1/2”). It is a D. L. Taylor (AFDCS# 29124) cover, and features an image of the December 1926 cover of the CGW Railroad “The Great Western Magazine” on the cachet. The magazine cover depicts a crouching Santa holding a toy train, and a youngster seated on the floor with outstretched arms. A Chicago Great Western Railroad emblem appears to the left of the child.

The FDC features a digital color postmark that includes an encircled portrait of Santa, the first day of issue official date October 7, 2021, and the official location of stamp issuance Santa Claus, Indiana.

This FDC is in near-mint condition.
