Haeger Ceramic Company, founded in 1871 by David H. Haeger in Dundee, Illinois, is known for its quality ceramic products, including decorative figurines and vases. The company began producing ceramic fish bowls with integrated figurines of cats or dogs in the mid-20th century. These fish bowls became iconic symbols of mid-century decor, prized for their whimsical charm and playful design.
