This luxman has been given one full overhaul.
The complete powersupply has been given one full recap.2 x KEMET 22000uf caps have been installed in the powersupply.
The preamp section has been given one full recap and set to factory settings.Both the poweramp moduls have been dissasembled , recapped, set to factory settings.
It has been tested for several hours and works just like it schould do.
Bias has been set in cold condition to 150ma. After 15 min this goes up to 260ma.This is becours this amp works for 8 watts in real class A.
The output speaker connectors have been replaced with gold plated connectors on all outputs. ( speaker A and B )

In the video, a MC cartridge has been used to demonstrate the phone function in it's full glory.
The design in these luxman amps is that the tone control is completely passive.That means that it is part from the speaker output stage or poweramp section. Even when used as an poweramp with external preamp input, the tone control on the front panel wil keep working.Routing the signal throu the amp over the tape input - output function stil work with the amp turned off.
Crazy design with some pure signal routings.
