Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Serving Plate

This is a Japanese vintage wooden serving tray or Obon. This square lacquered serving tray has raised sides and is coated in a rich dark forest green with a striking red rim. It can be used for serving a variety of things such as tea, snacks, etc. It comes in its original paper box.
Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
