1 1/2 inch or 38mm and made from white metal (not sterling silver) this is a fine cross in mint condition (Old New Stock from a closed convent) for a chain or rosary.
These are used as a shield or a protection against evil... . all the medals and crosses and other small items I am listing a the moment come from a Convent which closed here in south east Ireland recently.
