Gorgeous early 120th century neoclassical style sterling silver bud vase with a weight base.
Has hallmark <S> for maker D. S. Spaulding, 1896-1917, Mansfield, Massachusetts.
This mark is above "STERLING CEMENT FILLED REINFORED" on the weighted bottom.
Measures 8" tall.
The stacked base and upper rim have a fine feather pattern.
This upper rim is slightly out-of-round, a little dented on one edge.
The stem and base have just the very tiniest signs of age and use, and no engraving.
I cleaned quickly and has really beautiful patina!
Stands straight, no bends or wobble.
