This machine has been neurotically cared for throughout its life--frequent cleanings, light use, careful transport. There was no known damage, drop, or liquid spill, but suddenly a few keys are not responding on the keyboard. The only liquid that has touched this computer is a cleaning spray, and I find it hard to imagine that caused liquid damage, but who knows.
The left hand command, shift, option, and control keys seem unresponsive or stuck at alternating times. I cannot detect any issues whatsoever when using an external keyboard. For a year or so, there has been a small area on the screen that is brighter than the rest of the display but doesn't seem to affect performance. The camera, touch ID, hard drive, trackpad all seem to be working as expected. I do not have time to troubleshoot and cannot identify the issue, so you are buying in as-is condition, absolutely no returns. Minor cosmetic damage, a few scratches, to the top of lid, see pic before buying.
