Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan or Sienna Miller, contemporary icons of glittery glamour, surprise at the wheel of their cars, posed in the arms of the paparazzi who sacrifice themselves to the press, these images which once shone in dreams and the remains of our era are the source of inspiration for Sarah Davis' pastels and paintings. The artist metamorphoses these instantly arrested by the paparazzi in art works without the folly remaining in the luminous purity and the vibration of irradiant colors even with the cracks of flashes. She presents these tabloid images, pure products from our society of consumption and popularization, a classic dimension that inspires the spirit of our time, cars and women as an affirmation of a desire.
