I see a Georgia O’Keefe influence here. I just love these – every one is so unique. I don’t see any repetitions in the dozen or so I've gotten to touch over the years.

Thie print on this one is more detailed and intricate than most Bessi, and quite interesting.

Study the pictures to see the glorious details and joyful patterns throughout – and the signature. Bessi worked for Pucci and basically created the prints there he never got credit for. So he went out on his own, using the same techniques he developed for Pucci and the same very high quality silk.

This has been handwashed and pressed, and the dyes do not bleed because of Bessi’s excellent techniques. But silk will pick up dyes that bleed from other garments in the water, so be careful to wash it with other things that do not bleed – that’s why makers say wash with similar colors.

The blouse is not new, but is completely intact. I would say it was worn 5 times and washed with care twice. I wash mine by hand with gentle soap and they thrive. Bessi prints don’t bleed but the silk will pick up dye off other stuff,

It is a clean, vivid piece of silk.

I provide all this information so that you can get it and love it, so I hope you use it. Please ask any questions – that helps me write better listings.

The sewing form measures 38-30-39, FYI.

I am not a professional seller. I do this because I am weak and must have money for shopping. So please check your measurements and understand that I hope to avoid returns – tho I certainly will accept them, and, unless if I've really made a mistake in the factual portion of the description, I will ask you to share the shipping costs. I avoid future relations with people who send things back worn or because they didn’t read the description.

Please keep in mind that eBay keeps up to 20 percent of each purchase for letting me – and you – use this wondrous platform. And that the post office doesn’t ship free for me or eBay; eBay promotes promising it because people think they’re getting a deal with ‘free shipping.’

I also shop here on eBay and try to behave like so many of the great sellers and buyers I've had the privilege and good luck to deal with.
