Up for bid and for your consideration is a vintage Zippo Brown-Bilt advertising tape measure.

This tape measure would be great in your Zippo, Brown-Bilt or tape measure collection. 

The details:

The case measures a bit over 1-3/8 inches wide, about 1-5/8 inches tall and about 1/2 inches deep.

The front is marked with the Brown-Bilt Logo. Brown-Bilt is a shoe company.

The base is a plastic piece that is marked: Zippo Manufacturing Co., Bradford, PA.

This is the same company that makes the popular lighters! In fact, the housing of this tape measure looks like half of a lighter!

The tape goes to 76 inches. The first inch and a half is hard to read as it looks like it was exposed to something burning. The rest of the tape is in great condition.

The Brown-Bilt logo is engraved into the front of the case, then the engraving is filled with color. Some of the color is missing from within the engraving. Check out the photos for details.

There is a small dent on the front of the case to the top right. Photo #2 shows this the best.
