The James Jamieson Scotland Bosphorus 1830's Transferware Covered Vegetable Bowl is an antique round bowl made of porcelain or ceramic. It measures 11 inches in length, 12 inches in width, and 1 1/2 inches in depth. The bowl is white and black with a glossy finish and a printed backstamp. It is an original product from James Jamieson and Co.'s product line. The bowl is hand wash only and was manufactured in Scotland. There is some handling staining on the handles, some fine grazing and a chip on the bottom: but hey-it’s pushing 200 years old!
