1947--LOS ANGELES DONS ("JARRIN'" JOHN KIMBROUGH) vs. SAN FRANCISCO 49ers (FRANKIE ALBERT, NORM STANDLEE)--ALL AMERICAN FOOTBALL CONFERENCE PROGRAM ....PLUS 1948 OFFICIAL 49ers TEAM PHOTO...Here's a terrific 77 year old PROGRAM from the game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on November 2, 1947 that saw the 49ers beat the Dons 26-16....This was a game in the All American Football Conference that lasted from 1946-49 as a rival of the NFL....After this season, the 49ers, Browns and Baltimore Colts were absorbed into the NFL, as the Dons and the rest of the league folded.....Complete starting lineups, rosters, personal stats, photos and more of all the players on both teams....Dons posted a lineup of QB Charlie O'Rourke, backs Glenn Dobbs, Chuck Fenenback, Bob Kelly, Bob Reinhard and "Jarrin' John" Kimbrough and ends Burr Baldwin,Ezrett Anderson and kicker "Bootin' Ben" Agajanian....Top players for the 49ers were QB Frankie Albert, backs Norm Standlee, Johnny Strzykalski and Len Eshmont, ends Nick Suseoff and Alyn Beals and lineman Bruno Banducci.
