This hard-to-find CD, issued in 2001, will appeal to fans of the Association, Left Banke and the Cowsills.
The album consists of 16 tracks, thirteen of which are from the Boston band's three albums, while three tracks are taken from a 1971 album which only included one original member, Bruce Arnold.
Compiled by Varese Sarabande Records, this is an excellent selection of Orpheus' best recordings, including their take on the Left Banke's 'Walk Away Renee', the brilliant 'Can't Find The Time' (later covered by Hootie & The Blowfish), and two other outstanding tracks, 'Big Green Pearl' and the strangely titled, 'Brown Arms in Houston'.
The package includes an eight page comprehensive history of Orpheus with lots of photos.
