Robinson Jones, British 20th Century, Shipping Marine Signed Antique Oil Painting

An impressive and fine large oil on canvas depiction of a three-masted 18 gun galleon in fresh seas at a harbour entrance.

The warship accompanied by a smaller fishing boat with figures.

With deep colour and fine detailing of the vessels and the green seas, the sky and clouds being particularly skillfully painted.

Signed lower right, 'Robinson Jones'.

Mid 20th century, in excellent condition, housed in a good moulded gilt frame, ready to hang.

The image dimensions are approximately: 38''  x  28''   (97cm x 71cm).
