Canon EF-S 17-55mm F/2.8 IS USM Zoom Lens 

This lens was returned to me as faulty.
Receiving it back and testing it I can confirm that this lens is definitely faulty.

Sometimes seems to work normally, but very often will display the following error when you try to take a picture:
Err 1 Communications between the camera and lens is faulty. Clean the lens contacts.

AF, MF, and IS seem to be working, but in my opinion this lens isn't suitable for use without repair because of how often the error occurs.

Condition is good with superficial signs of use as pictured, including some dust behind the front element and a very small scratch near the edge of the front element, neither of which have any impact on images or the function of the lens in any way.

Boxed with original lens caps and lens hood.
