This is a solid Omega sewing machine.  It powers on runs smoothly and powerfully.  However, it could likely use a servicing.  

The cord should be replaced. It does not appear to be safe. I would not use it before changing the cord. I did plug it in to quickly test it and it does run quite powerfully.

 The case is missing it's handle and has been replaced with a rope.
