Absolutely amazing guitar! they called these the les paul killers when they were launched and when you play it you realise why.

Really slender neck and such a low action and so easy to play.

This is from the original production,not the reissue model which Yamaha launched in the 90's.

The guitar is made from mahogony and a maple cap and a mahogony neck with ebony as the fretboard(virtually unmarked)

and gorgeous split wing mother of pearl inlays. 

1 volume 1 tone with push pull option.the guitar has such a raw clear sound with the 3 way toggle switch giving you so many more options-wonderful!

The guitar has the whammy bar included and is all original and the previous owner had not played it for almost 20 years preferring his prs in his band.

These are a rare guitar for sure and you can see a couple them in Japan mostly and are very expensive to import with tax,duties and rare/endangered species taxes etc.

I would say the guitar is almost immaculate bar 2 tiny nicks on the face.the fretboard and frets are in great condition considering its age,you would have to go a long way to find another like this and they will only increase in value.

Yamaha made them in 2 colours,cream and candy apple red.

The guitar sounds awesome and really suitable for all types of music,rock,jazz and/or just rhythm.

A real shame to have to sell but i cant justify owning the strat aswell as this beauty!

It comes with the case although not the original.

So would much prefer collection but could box up and post probably for £50 insured.
