Unbelievably rare vintage Gates Century Extra Long Tall Black Rubber

Waders Size 8/42

These waders were part of a small batch of bespoke made extra long

handmade rubber waders manufactured by the Gates Rubber

Company in Scotland some 25/30 years ago in very small numbers

indeed, so rarely do these beautifully long true crotch high waders

come available to own nowadays!. The waders are marked as a

UK8/EUR42,but as with most hand made rubber waders of the

era they do come up large, so I would say more like a UK9/EUR43

!. Having said that, I’m a 10 and can wear them Please study the photos

carefully as they do form a large part of the description, they do have

 2 patch  and a little minor perishing to the rear uppers, but

nothing too serious in my opinion and still very much watertight to the

very top of the inside scallop which is a wonderful 35 1/2” from the

ground and a whopping 41” to the outer wing, these are seriously

long
