This offering is for ONE ready to hang fantastical thick and nubby barkcloth BLACK tropical drapery panel...I have SIX AVAILABLE being sold individually...in a pattern and colorway sure to knock you off your feet! These Art Deco gems are in perfect condition...hailing from the late 1930's with a botanical post Art Deco fanfare...and literally takes me back to to my days crawling through abandoned Miami Beach hotels in the 80's...when you could literally yank draperies like this off the windows!! As you know BLACK is always dramatic and always attracted a special customer...back in the day I used to say it attracted the artsy...those like SallyJesse Raphael who relished in her funky red framed glasses...otherwise the black was just too risky for the conservative of mind who preferred beige and mundane colorways. These beauties have pleater tape on the back for using drapery pins or pins that allow you to pleat...or just hang on ring clips as I do. The selvedges are original and untouched by hems...so in essence it gives the illusion of unused yardage...signed "Markwood Fabrics Guaranteed to be Vat Print". Measures 49 inches wide and 83 inches long with a 3 inch hem. A crisp black unfaded ground with candied red hibiscus cascading about...long spikes of bamboo stalks take center stage...deep burgundy...asparagus limes...cool chartreuse lime...dove grays...chocolate...a peachy pink in the hibiscus flower...hints of creamy white and the stamen popped with a creamy turquoise blue!! If you've been waiting for the perfect vintage barkcloth in a quantity you practically have to go back in time to get...well this is your chance. They are flawless and time capsuled...have at em!

I take returns...but who wants to take a return right? So I do my best to add lots of photos that depict the weight and texture and do so thoughtfully so you are getting the most virtual experience. Please only buy if you know you really want it...in other words...I'm here to have the best selling experience and I can't do that without your help. With that said...of course I will take a return...I'm just hoping more the pricing will WOW YA over wanting to return it :) Here is to a summer of fabulous Florida Finds. :)
