The ADIZERO PRIME ACCELERATOR is the most powerful sprinting spike ADIDAS have ever produced and is designed for explosive acceleration over shorter, straight-line distances.
Ideal for track events between 100 and 400 metres, the ACCELERATOR has everything you could want in a sprint spike – it’s lightweight, uber-supportive, breathable, and lightning fast. It also offers the same level of support as its predecessor, the superbly-named ADIDAS DEMOLISHER, but with 30% less weight.
The 2015 ADIZERO ACCELERATOR is engineered with a welded, stitchless composite membrane and features a seamless SPRINTWEB upper which holds the foot securely in place without restricting your natural range of motion. Technical COOLEVER mesh also helps regulate interior temperature by drawing heat and moisture away from the skin to keep your feet cool and comfortable.
This high-performance spike also incorporates a foam insole and suede inner frame for greater comfort, so you can focus on what’s important – exploding out of the blocks and blowing the competition away down the stretch.
The upper of PRIME ACCELERATOR rides on a highly durable TPU sole plate which works alongside six compression-tiered spikes to deliver unrivalled grip. The SPINTFRAME spike plate also encourages power conversion through the whole of the foot whilst improving torsional stability at the midfoot.
The ACCELERATOR’s full-length outsole also creates a more rigid push-off platform, allowing you to propel through every stride with maximum efficiency. A revised six pin spike configuration also promotes more aggressive acceleration and decreases braking force.
