Long-Term Ownership & Knowledge:
As a dedicated owner since 2010, I've been a member of both the UK and US RX8 owners clubs. This has allowed me to stay informed about the best maintenance practices and potential issues that can arise with these unique cars. I've proactively addressed these concerns throughout my ownership, ensuring this RX-8 is in top condition.
Condition:
The car is in good overall condition with a few exceptions and MOT requirements:
* There are minor dents on each rear wheel arch
* Cracks to the front bumper due to the ride height
* Welding required on seatbelt mounting points
* Emissions (catalytic converter included in sale)
* Check engine light (due to decat, so should be resolved when the original catalytic converter is reinstalled)
* Rear tyres required
Rear tyres have been replaced as per MOT result - Yokohama Advan to match the fronts
Importantly, the car starts and runs well, but due to the MOT failure it will not be road legal and will need to be trailered away upon purchase.
