Description:

A 2X Teleconverter multiplies focal length of primary lenses by a factor of 2X. while on the other hand, it decreases the effective aperture of the primary lens by two f-stops. The Olympus 2X-A is also designed to be used with a specific group of Zuiko lenses - those without deeply recessed rear elements, a design popularly found on lenses of shorter focal length. Olympus indicates Zuiko 100mm f/2.8, Zuiko 135mm f/2.8, Zuiko 135mm f/3.5 , Zuiko 200mm f/4.0, Zuiko 200mm f/5.0 or Zuiko Zoom lenses 100-200mm f/5.0. Although I know it can be quite tempting to use it with other Zuiko's, but such combination may compromise the lenses in some optical drawbacks such as vignetting or some other optical deterioration may also occur. Thus, it is also advisable to follow strictly within the guidelines laid by the manufacturer in relation to selection of the respective teleconverter in combination of lens/converter.

This Tele Converter lens is in Very Good Condition, it has seen very little use and has been very well looker after, the optics are clean, we have checked/tested & it is working correctly.

**This Converter is for the older manual OM mount and will not fit an newer OMD Camera without an adapter.**
